The purpose of this course is aimed at helping disciples gain a primary understanding of doctrines that are related to God\u2019s wonderful plan of salvation. Through the study of these doctrines, the student will be more enabled to view salvation from God\u2019s perspective and better comprehend the depth of God\u2019s wisdom, power, love and grace offered through Christ Jesus. Essential to gaining these insights is knowing that God has \u201cpredestined\u201d a glorious outcome for all of mankind who excepts and embraces His spiritual plan of salvation.\u00a0\u00a0 Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:\u00a0 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:\u201d<\/b>. Romans 8:30 elaborates on God\u2019s desire for man’s eternal purpose and the magnificent outcome prepared for all that put their trust in Jesus.\u00a0 \u00a0These passages ensures that nothing in this world is comparable to the eternal joy available only through Christ.\u00a0Moreover whom he did predestinate them, he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified\u201d.\u00a0<\/b><\/div>
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0As the New Testament gives the details of the spiritual blessings\u201d referenced in Ephesians 1:3 it becomes clear that there are many divine graces that accompany salvation. These mercies bestowed upon men by God, are specified in various doctrines such as justification, sanctification, redemption, regeneration, and others.\u00a0 These graces from God so impact the lives of believers in Christ\u2019s salvation, that they spiritually transfer them into a new spiritual realm,\u00a0 as they await the total manifestation of their being children of God.\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0Colossians 1:12-14 states\u00a0“Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:\u00a0 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:\u00a0 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>Christ\u00a0 often explained that this new realm was his \u201cKingdom of Heaven.\u201d\u00a0 Jesus taught that his kingdom was a mystery that was hidden from the world.\u00a0 It is for this reason that this workbook will begin with an examination of the \u201ckingdom of heaven\u201d as described in the New Testament. Having an understanding of Christ\u2019s kingdom will serve as a foundation for comprehending the graces found in the aforementioned doctrines. However, Christ\u2019s kingdom of heaven is so profound, that only an introduction will be presented at this time.\u00a0 Therefore, it is\u00a0 being presented with the expectation that this preamble will be the platform that will allow the student to achieve the wisdom that can only be gained though a lifetime devotion to, and the study of\u00a0 Christ\u2019s kingdom<\/div>
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The thirteenth chapter of the book of Matthew is one place where many details of the kingdom of heaven are revealed, and in the form of parables.\u00a0 Not only are the details of the kingdom of heaven revealed in this chapter, but also the details of how the souls of men are impacted due to their \u201c willingness\u201d to either receive or reject the truth that these parables explain.\u00a0 To begin this study the student is therefore asked to read the entire chapter of Matthew thirteen, make certain observations, and then answer questions that pertain to the \u201ckingdom of heaven\u201d.
