The Bible teaches that \u201credemption\u201d is a blessing included in God\u2019s plan of salvation. The word redemption means to reacquire something that has been lost or taken away.\u00a0 So, in regard to salvation, Christ has redeemed the perfect relationship that had once existed between God and man. Man had lost this fellowship with God when Adam disobeyed God and ate the forbidden fruit.\u00a0 Upon eating the forbidden fruit Adam acquired a sinful nature that he passed down to all mankind.\u00a0 This \u201cfall of man\u201d resulted in man losing an easy way of making a living, a loss of man experiencing a divine peace and most important of all, man lost the privilege of experiencing eternal life. This sinful nature which all men have acquired and cause all to sin can be viewed as\u00a0the power of sin.<\/u>\u00a0<\/i><\/b>This same sinful nature that causes every person to experience death and damnation can be viewed as\u00a0the curse of sin<\/u><\/i><\/b>.<\/div>
However, because of the great love that God has for mankind, God had a plan\u00a0 to deliver mankind from both,\u00a0the power\u00a0<\/u><\/i><\/b>and\u00a0the curse of sin<\/u><\/i><\/b>. God, out of His compassion for man, promised Adam and Eve that one day a Messiah would be born to \u201credeem\u201d mankind from their sin problem.\u00a0 Jesus is that promised Messiah and the Bible teaches that Christ restored man\u2019s relationship with God in: Galatians 4:3-5 3\u00a0Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.<\/b><\/div>
The Bible ensures that Christ is able to redeem mankind from sin and death in Galatians 3:13:\u00a0Christ hath\u00a0redeemed<\/u>\u00a0us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:\u00a0<\/b><\/div>
Scripture in the Bible that ensures that mankind has been redeemed from the power of sin speaks of Christ:\u00a0Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works<\/b>. Titus 2:14<\/div>
The fact that mankind has been redeemed by the sacrifice of Jesus is so great that the Bible teaches\u00a0\u00a0 that in heaven in the ages to come all of those who has been redeemed will offer a new and unique praise. Revelation 5:9\u00a0And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;<\/b><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
