As we consider the doctrine of JUSTIFICATION it is to be understood that the entire Christian faith is founded upon this principle. Indeed, what sets Christianity apart from all other religions is the fact that there is an underlying assumption that a person does not and cannot find favor or obtain everlasting life based upon their own righteous acts. Justification goes on to declare that a person finds favor and everlasting life through Every other doctrine and principle would be of insignificance if this doctrine were not a reality.
Paul the writer of this epistle, [Romans]goes on to clarify the meaning of the statement that Abraham was told by God that he would be “heir to the world” was going to be “the father of many nations,” was founded upon the doctrine of Justification. Paul emphasis in this passage that no one can please God through the keeping of the law, but in contrast the law condemns all because no one can abide by all its commands. Paul explained that even as righteousness was counted to Abraham for his faith in God’s word, it shall also bring this same atonement to all who have the same faith as Abraham, regardless of their nationality.
